What I found is you need to unplug the sensor before you can get the heat cover off. From underneath you rotate the cover off then the sensor comes off of the mounting stud. Reverse to install. Insert sensor, install cover and then Plug it in. To hold the nut in your socket i used Teflon tape around the nut. It worked as expected. A deep well socket is essential. To remove the nut.

Okay, I just did this and it works. Only I did it from the FRONT of the connector which is much easier. Just cut the third wire down from the top, which is the WHITE wire. It's right below the red wire. I used a butt connector. Put the new knock sensor in the space shown. No more trouble code 325.
